Jaipur: After the death of two newborns in Kota’s Suket Community Health Centre and negligence at the CHC, the Medical and Health Dept has ordered disciplinary action against 14 medical personnel. A female health worker has been suspended with immediate effect and the Block Chief Medical and Health Officer has been put on APO. The ACS of Dept, Shubhra Singh said that Joint Director of the Department, Kota zone is probing the case. Singh said BCMO got the cause probed by a threemember panel which stated that the newborns died due to negligence at CHC. Director Public Health, Dr Ravi Prakash Mathur said that absent female health worker Chandravati Sharma, has been suspended and BCMO Dr Rais Khan has been given APO.
