Kirodi, Sahara investors march to SEBI office for Rs 25K cr refund

Jaipur: Led by Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena, Rajya Sabha MP, thousands of people including the investors and workers of Sahara India Pariwar marched and protested against SEBI for unreasonably holding Rs. 25,000 crore of Sahara. They also blocked the Agra–Jaipur Highway.

The march started from Bassi Chowk and reached the SEBI regional office on Bhawani Singh Road, Jaipur where they handed over a memorandum to the SEBI officials for taking immediate action.

Sahara has deposited more than Rs. 25,000 crore including interest with SEBI to refund its investors. Meena said crores of investors and 14 lakh workers linked with Sahara and earning from Sahara for past 40 years are facing financial difficulties.
