Kirodi Meena alleges valuable land sold at throwaway prices

Jaipur: Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena has written a letter to the Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma alleging scam worth crores of rupees going on in selling lands in the name of ERCP. He wrote that very valuable land was sold at throwaway prices.

Many serious allegations were also made against the Water Resources Department. The minister raised questions on the officials of his department. He questioned the transfer of land on the main road from Alwar city to ERCP. He wrote about auctioning the land of the Horticulture Department as that of Irrigation Department and selling land worth Rs 50 crore for just Rs 9 crore.

Meena said that ERCP Commission officials did this in collusion with a Delhi based company.

In the letter, it has been demanded from the Chief Minister that the irregular sale of land should be cancelled and action should be taken against the culprits.
