Jaipur: Mayor of Municipal Corporation Greater Dr Somya and State Sports Council President Krishna Poonia inaugurated Khelo Jaipur programme with badminton competition at Ajax Metropolitan Club, Vaishali Nagar here. Mayor said that sports are important as they make a person healthy and foster mutual harmony and love. In badminton competition, matches will be played between the councillors, officers and media. She said that sports competitions will be organized at the ward level also under the Khelo Jaipur programme. This will help city people take maximum advantage of the public welfare schemes of the corporation by associating with the corporation.
