Kalla & CS to attend Northern zonal meeting

Jaipur: Education Minister BD Kalla will represent Rajasthan on behalf of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the Northern Zonal Council meeting to be held in Amritsar today. Some of the important issues to be discussed are membership of Rajasthan in Bhakra Beas Management Board, ensure equitable distribution of water, issues related to Harike Barrage, Centre’s Ayushman vs State’s Chiranjeevi Scheme, Pocso court outstanding cases, issues related to women atrocities and law and order.

The team will be led by a minister. Chief Secretary Usha Sharma and a team of officers associated with the planning department will also be in the meeting.
