Kalicharan Saraf sworn-in as pro-tem Speaker of Assembly

Jaipur: The process of nomination for key posts in the new Assembly of Rajasthan is on. MLA Kalicharan Saraf, one of the senior most leaders of BJP, has been made the Pro-tem Speaker. Saraf won the election from Malviya Nagar seat of Jaipur for the 8th time.

Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath to Saraf during a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan on Monday.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, CP Joshi, Vasudev Devnani, Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa and others were present. Proceedings of swearingin ceremony were conducted by Principal Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Department Gyan Prakash Gupta.

Besides, a panel of three senior-most MLAs has also been constituted. This includes MLA Dayaram Parmar, Kirodi Lal Meena and Pratap Singh Singhvi.
