Jpr woman given triple talaq over birth of daughter

Jaipur: Since the legal ban on triple talaq, the second triple talaq case has surfaced in the city. It is alleged that a year ago, husband, who was upset with the birth of his daughter, threw his wife out of the house by saying triple talaq. The victim filed a case against her husband for giving triple talaq at Ramganj police station. According to sources, muslim women say that despite legal restrictions, triple talaq is still taking place due to lack of awareness and the attitude of police. As per victim, everything went well for a year, however things turned bad after birth of female child. Victim Sana was abused by her husband & was tortured mentally & physically. Her husband was not happy with the birth of a girl child. Victim filed a case with police against her husband. But after persuasion, the case was withdrawn however the atrocities of the husband did not stop & 3 days ago, he was given triple talaq in front of family
