Jpr tops in disposal of revenue cases
Jaipur: The Jaipur district administration leads in revenue case disposal and the number of new cases being disposed of monthly has increased significantly. However, there are still 32,738 pending revenue cases in Jaipur district. On average, more than 50 new revenue cases are being filed daily. In July alone, 1,570 new revenue cases were registered, while 2,098 cases were resolved in various state courts across the district.
In July, the Chaksu sub-division saw the highest number of cases registered, with 190 cases, and also had the highest pending cases, totaling 2,879, despite resolving 204 cases that month. District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit is also on target. Although the city has lagged behind, the rural areas of the district have exceeded targets for case disposal. In Jaipur city, 74 cases were disposed off against 84 new cases filed, while in Jaipur Rural, 68 cases were disposed off against 47 new cases filed.
