Jpr police tightens noose on liquor sales & night clubs

Jaipur: To tighten the law and order situation and to keep a tab on crime control in Jaipur police has issued orders that the liquor shops should not be allowed to sell after 8 pm and the night clubs should not operate beyond midnight. In an order issued by Jaipur police commissioner Biju Geroge Joseph, it has been stated that the liquor shops should not sell after 8 pm, and if there is any negligence then a departmental inquiry will be made against the SHO of the police station concerned. Regarding the operation of night clubs, it has been directed that their operation will be till midnight and the music should not be beyond 10 pm.

Commissioner Joseph has also said that the ID cards of customers entering night clubs should be checked and properly noted down before they are allowed entry
