Jpr collectorate lags in disposal of e-filing
Jaipur: The average disposal time for e-filing at the Jaipur District Collectorate has significantly increased, rising to 47 hours and 13 minutes this month compared to 13 hours and 25 minutes in August. This notable delay follows the appointment of the current collector, Jitendra Soni, who took charge earlier this month.
The extended disposal times are not limited to the district collector; the average disposal times for ADM-I, ADM -II, ADM -IV, East, North, and South offices have also increased. The rise in disposal times among officials has resulted in a slowdown among staff, contributing to a nearly fourfold increase in processing times at the collectorate.
In August, the average disposal time for e-filing was 13 hours and 25 minutes, but by the third week of September, this had ballooned to 47 hours and 13 minutes. Apart from this, there has been a rise in pending revenue cases this month.
