Joshi lays foundation stone of water schemes
Jaipur: Public Health Engineering Department Minister Mahesh Joshi laid the foundation stone of three reorganized urban water supply schemes of Jaipur worth about Rs 130 crore on Sunday. In this, reorganized water supply scheme of Rs 46 crore 37 lakh, renovation of pump house for smooth drinking water supply in Baiji Ki Kothi, Model Town and surrounding areas, construction of new high reservoir, connecting new pipeline in Baiji Ki Kothi and Model Town area will be done. A population of 50,000 will benefit from this scheme.
Under the Reorganized Urban Water Supply Scheme Jagatpura (Jaipur) worth Rs 44 crore 30 lakh will be done. Addressing the programme, Joshi said that he left no stone unturned in providing pure drinking water to the people. “There was no discrimination of any kind against the people of any assembly constituency in providing water,” he said.
