Joshi forms panel on potable water woes, report likely soon
Jaipur: PHED Minister Mahesh Joshi said that the State Govt is serious about solving the drinking water problem faced by people living in multi-storey residential buildings. He has directed a committee to make a policy in this regard and submit its report in a month. He was addressing a meeting organized to discuss the policy to be made regarding release of drinking water connections in multi-storey buildings at the Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Joshi said that the availability of drinking water in Rajasthan is dire as compared to other states. In such a situation, the policies adopted for providing drinking water to multi-storey buildings in other states will be studied. A preliminary draft of the policy will be prepared soon.
