Joshi accuses Cong of extensive corruption

Jaipur: BJP state president CP Joshi accused the Congress of engaging in extensive corruption in Rajasthan over the past five years, asserting that their focus is solely on accumulating wealth.

Joshi, addressing a press conference, also targeted the Congress over the recovery of large sums of money from the premises of Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu in Jharkhand.

Highlighting the case of Dheeraj Sahu, Joshi claimed that the exposed ill-gotten gains of one individual offer insight into the potential actions of other Cong leaders, suggesting widespread corruption within the party.

He noted that Congress consistently opposes actions taken by national agencies, implying discomfort when investigations target the party.

Joshi also referred to the allegations of Ashok Gehlot’s Office of Special Duty (OSD) Lokesh Sharma saying that the OSD has attributed the defeat of Congress in Rajasthan to Gehlot.

When asked about the BJP legislature party meeting, Joshi stated that observers have been appointed, and the date for the meeting will be communicated soon. Reacting to Ashok Gehlot’s statement that BJP has not been able to finalize the CM face, Joshi countered and said that the Congress has not been able to decide the leader of opposition.
