In a separate incident on December 26, a 55-year-old woman underwent a COVID-19 test at SMS Hospital in Jaipur, revealing her infection with the JN-1 variant. However, tracing her has proven challenging as the given address and mobile number are inaccurate. Despite informing Ajmer Medical College about the case, reaching the infected woman has proven elusive. Health dept teams are currently intensively searching for her to ensure timely and appropriate medical interventions. This underscores the importance of accurate information and efficient tracing mechanisms in the ongoing efforts to manage spread of COVID-19 variants.
