JMCH Mayor tries to convince councillors

Jaipur: Perceiving no response from the government, the councillors sitting on dharna for the demand of steering committees in Heritage Municipal Corporation, has started a hunger strike from Wednesday. Getting information about the strike, Mayor Munesh Gurjar reached dharna spot to have a discussion and convince them. She has invited the councillors to have a discussion today morning. A day before this, the councillors submitted a memorandum to the CM in CMR and raised the demand for the formation of steering committees. Councillors have been sitting on dharna for the last seven days due to the nonconstitution of steering committees in the Heritage Corporation even after two years. Meanwhile, MLAs also assured to form steering committees in 7 days, but due to nonformation of committees, councillors have started fast once again.
