JDC reviews Dravyavati river project

Jaipur: Following direction of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Urban Development Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, Jaipur Development Commissioner Manju Rajpal is working for an all-round development of Jaipur. Review meetings are held every week by Rajpal for the revitalization of Dravyavati river as untreated sewerage and industrial waste was flowing into the river at some places. On Friday, the construction work of the STP started.

JDA officials along with the officials of Rajasthan Pollution Control Board are conducting inspections regarding industrial waste. The board has assured to take action in the next seven days. Most of the untreated sewerage flows into the Dravyavati river near Sushilpura culvert.
