JDA withholds NOC for multi-screen

Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has not issued an NOC (No Objection Certificate) for the installation of a multi-screen facility at the Jewel of India project. The Police Commissionerate had sent two letters to the JDA requesting the NOC for construction in compliance with building bylaws. In response, the JDA cited pending judicial cases related to the entire land as a reason for withholding the NOC.

The JDA’s response also mentioned that the building’s plans were approved by the architect and that the completion certificate was issued by the architect. However, the JDA has never inspected the building. Additionally, there have been previous complaints about encroachments on a drain near the project, which the JDA has not yet investigated.
