JDA to give Rs 1,200 cr for extension of Jaipur Metro Rail Route in city

Jaipur: In what could be termed as a major news regarding expansion of Jaipur Metro Rail route, JDA will give entire Rs 1200 crore for expansion. The State Finance Department made it clear to JDA.

A meeting of JDA’s project working committee was held on Wednesday in which sanction of budget for various projects was given.

The committee sanctioned Rs 8.06 crore for increasing width of Malviya Nagar ROB, Jawahar Nala Pulia and traffic improvement work, sanction of Rs 13.94 was given for maintenance and repair and development works in greenwood area and parks, Rs 6.58 crore for facade lighting from Ajmer Road to Sodala chauraha, Rs 8.35 crore for facade lighting on Durgapura flyover and Rs 13 crore for floodlights at Vidyadhar Nagar stadium. Rs 9.88 crore was sanctioned for STP construction, operation and maintenance in Kishan Bagh while Rs 9.83 crore was sanctioned for development, beautification of approach roads in Idgah area.
