JDA lackadaisical about Rs 225 crore scheme

Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Authority has turned away its eyes from a scheme through which it could get Rs 225 crore. The matter is related to the farm house and ecofriendly house scheme in village Jairampura on Sikar road. The plan is stuck due to the apathy of the JDA officials. The scheme was registered in the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Rajasthan on November 8 last year but the matter is stuck due to the approval of the development works.

66 plots of ecofriendly houses ranging from 1200 to 1800 sqm, and 105 plots of farm houses up to 3600 square meters are proposed on this scheme.

The scheme located on Sikar Road is only 7 kilometers away from JDA’s Nindar scheme. The total size of this scheme is 52.77 hectares located in village Jayrampura Tehsil Amer.

In this scheme, about Rs 1.5 crore have to be spent on demarcation. If all the roads are constructed, then about Rs 11 crore will be spent. If only the main roads are constructed, then about Rs 5 crore have to be spent. In this way, the minimum expenditure for the development of the scheme is around Rs 6.5 crore.
