Jaipur: Jaipur Development Authority demolished two illegal shops built for commercial purposes without permission and approval of JDA in ecological zone Dadu Nagar and new illegal colony on about 10 bigha agricultural land of private ownership in ecological zone on Friday.

In Zone-11, two new illegal colonies on about 14 bigha agricultural land were demolished and action was taken to seal illegal construction of a basement in Vidyut Nagar in Zone 7.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kailash Chandra Vishnoi said that upon receiving information regarding illegal construction in the Ecological Zone, these were demolished by the enforcement squad with the help of JCB machines and labourers on the directions of the revenue and technical staff of Zone-10.
