JDA committee to decide on ropeway

Jaipur: The executive committee of JDA will be decide on the ropeway soon. JDC Ravi Jain approved to place the matter before the committee. In the meeting of the executive committee, there will be discussion on cancelling the contract with the firm. The ropeway was proposed from Kanak valley to the junction between Nahargarh and Jaigarh. JDA had given a work order to Damodar Ropeway Limited in 2005. According to the terms of the contract, the firm had to get clearance from the forest department but the firm could not get it. “The recommendation has been made by the engineering branch of JDA. The contract has been recommended to be terminated,” the engineers said.
