JDA announces subway construction, Central Park track closed

Jaipur: Jaipur Development Commissioner Manju Rajpal announced on Monday that the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is set to construct a pedestrian subway from Rambagh Golf Club to Gate No. 2 of the Rajasthan High Court on Bhagwan Das Road. Due to this construction, starting June 18, 2024, a section of the Central Park track will be closed for approximately 200 meters. This closure will extend from the entrance of the Golf Club on Bhawani Singh Road to the Shiv Ji temple within the Golf Club, located opposite the Rajasthan High Court. Visitors to Central Park are advised to plan their movements accordingly.

Commissioner Rajpal also revealed plans for a two-level underground parking lot, covering an area of about 10,000 square meters in the existing parking space at Rambagh Golf Club. This new facility will provide parking for approximately 500 vehicles, including both four-wheelers and twowheelers.
