Jaipur/Hindaun: Several areas of State were inundated on Sunday as heavy rains lashed. There were several reports of drowning deaths. As per different reports over 23 people drowned in 24 hours in separate mishaps.
There is flood like situation in Hindaun City where markets and houses were submerged after heavy and continuous rains. As the flood situation worsened, thousands of families of Hindaun were affected. A loss of more than Rs 25 crores is being estimated in 35 hrs.
In Jaipur also, life was disrupted due to heavy rain. Heavy rain water entered in low lying areas leading to traffic jams on Ghatgate, MI Road, Ghat ki Guni and other areas.
