JAIPUR’S ICONIC NEHRU PARK IN RAMSHACKLE
Jaipur: Nehru Park, the oldest JDA authorized park in the VVIP area of Jaipur is in a dilapidated condition. Most of the people who come here for a walk and children who play belong to the families of judicial and administrative officers.
Most of the tiles on the pillars on both sides of the entrance gate number two of the park have come off. Bumpy tiles in the area of children’s trains can cause injury. The Rose Garden is only in name. The fish pond has dirty water with moss afloat and mosquitoes breeding.
There is no drinking water facility and the swings near are broken. The adventure swings are also broken. Besides, there is no place to sit as most of the chairs are broken or have birds’ excreta.
