JAIPUR STAKES CLAIM TO BE ‘LEOPARD CAPITAL OF WORLD’ WITH 75 BIG CATS

Jaipur: As the number of leopards in Jaipur has touched close to 75, the wildlife lovers are campaigning to get Jaipur officially declared as ‘Leopard Capital of the World’ by govt. In Jaipur, the number of leopards has reached close to 75 including Jhalana, Amagarh, Nahargarh & Achrol.

Sunil Mehta, a member of State Wildlife Board, has written a letter to state government in this matter. Members of the State Wildlife Board Sunil Mehta, Dhirendra Godha, Chairman of Sariska Foundation Dinesh Durrani, wildlife expert Dheeraj Kapoor and other wildlife lovers have started the ‘Leopard Capital of World’ campaign.

In fact, under leadership of Forest & Env Min Hemaram Choudhary, team including PS Shikhar Aggarwal, PCCF Dr DN Pandey, Chief Wildlife Warden Arindam Tomar, DAFO Ajay Chittoda & Ranger Janeshwar Choudhary has made coordinated efforts.
