Jaipur sets world record with 25-hr nonstop Yoga session

Jaipur: In a remarkable achievement, yoga practitioners from 51 institutions in Jaipur set a new world record by engaging in continuous yoga for 25 hours and 15 minutes.

The event took place at the Indralok Auditorium near Narayan Singh Circle at the initiative by Dr Somya, Mayor of Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation, ahead of the 10th International Yoga Day.

Over 1500 participants demonstrated various yoga practices without interruption, impressing the World Record team.

She joined the yoga practitioners on stage, participating in various activities such as Surya Namaskar, and provided encouragement throughout the session.

Representatives from 51 institutions, including Krida Bharti, Yogapeace Institute, Patanjali, Brahmakumari, Atmanirbhar Vruddhashram, and Gayatri Parivar, collaborated to achieve this feat, starting at 7 am on Sunday and concluding at 8 am on Monday.

The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, Cabinet Minister Avinash Gehlot, Minister of State for Urban Development Jhabar Singh Kharra, Education Minister Madan Dilawar, and Indian middle-distance runner Gopal Saini among others.
