Jaipur Police solves Rs 20 lakh loot case, arrests 4 accused

Jaipur: The Jaipur Police Commissionerate have arrested four members of an interstate gang for their alleged involvement in loot of Rs 20 lakh from a hawala trader.

Police informed the accused have been identified as Kasim Jafri (36), Kamran Khan (42), Nadim Baig (41) and Majar Sheikh (44).

“Eight miscreants posed as policemen and looted Rs 20 lakh from the agent of a hawala trader three days ago under the Kotwali Police Station area. Out of the eight accused, four have been arrested and efforts are being done to nab the remaining four. Eleven lakh rupees and a motorcycle has been recovered from the possession of the accused. The accused are being interrogated and the remaining four miscreants will be nabbed soon,” police said.
