Jaipur police nabs 7 from hotel with illegal arms in Mansarovar

Jaipur: The crime branch of Jaipur Police Commissionerate on Saturday arrested seven people with illegal arms in Jaipur’s Mansarovar area.

Police informed the accused had assembled at a hotel near Vande Matram Circle in Mansarovar area for taking illegal possession of a disputed property in Vidhan Sabha Nagar colony.
“The accused have been identified as Harpal Singh, Dinesh Singh, Banshi Dhar, Rishi Sharma, Satish Chand, Deepak Kumar and Kaushalendra. The miscreants were hired owing to a rivalry between two groups due to a disputed plot worth crores of rupees,” police said. “They were arrested from a hotel and a revolver, country-made pistol and 19 live cartridges were recovered from their possession,” police added.
