Jaipur Int’l Airport ranked 9th by Cirium

Jaipur: Despite a challenging operational environment, Jaipur International Airport has been featured among the 10 best-performing medium airports globally in 2022.

In its “On-time Performance Review 2022”, aviation analytics company Cirium featured Jaipur airport as the ninth best airport globally in 2022 in terms of on-time arrivals and departures. Other than Jaipur, no Indian airport has been featured in the top 10 in the ‘Medium Airports’ category.

On-time arrival performance (when a passenger flight/aircraft arrives at the gate within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time) and on-time departure performance (when a passenger flight/aircraft departs the gate within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time) was used to rank medium airports globally. In the ranking chart, Cirium found that On-Time Departure percentage at Jaipur airport was 86.17 per cent. Total Flights 37,506 departed from Jaipur airport in 2022 on about 35 routes.
