Jaipur gears up for Jhotwara elevated road launch in 2024

Jaipur: Jaipur is poised to witness a substantial improvement in transportation infrastructure as the eagerly awaited Jhotwara Elevated Road is scheduled for inauguration in the new year.

Originally slated for completion in December 2020, the Jhotwara Elevated Road faced numerous challenges, primarily involving rehabilitation for 642 houses, shops, and other constructions obstructing project’s path. The delayed rehabilitation work for those affected contributed to prolonged setbacks and changing deadlines.

However, with nearly 99 percent of the obstacles removed, the project is back on track and anticipated to be fully operational by Feb-March 2024. The completed 2450-meter-long road will have six lanes.
