Jaipur Discom appoints nodal officers

Jaipur: Jaipur Discom on Tuesday appointed nodal officers to increase revenue collection in the current fiscal year. Discom MD Ajit Saxena has appointed the nodal officers and handed over the responsibility circle wise. Instructions to all nodal officers were given to work with immediate effect. Separate vehicles will also be approved for revenue collection in all AEN offices.

Saxena said DISCOM’s performance so far has been satisfactory but a special focus Is being given on big defaulters so that the fixed target of revenue collection can be met at the earliest. He said that field engineers have also been instructed to make recovery from the big defaulters. Saxena informed that nodal officers have been appointed from headquarters to increase revenue collection. Chief Controller of Accounts AK Joshi has been made the nodal officer for Jaipur Rural andAlwar’s responsibility was given to Chief Controller of Accounts YS Rathore. Apart from them, Zonal Chief Engineer of Jaipur JK Mishra is the nodal officer of Dausa, Zonal Chief Engineer of Bharatpur RK Meena is the nodal officer of Dholpur.
