JAIPUR BOMB BLAST CULPRITS ACQUITTED DUE TO NEGLIGENCE OF GOVT: CP JOSHI

Jaipur: After the removal of Satish Poonia from the post of BJP state president, the scene of the party’s protests has changed.Those leaders have also started appearing who were rarely seen in the last three years.

After Chittorgarh MP CP Joshi took charge of the party in the Congress-ruled state, the first sit-in protest was held in Jaipur on Saturday. Leaders of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s faction dominated the demonstration.The dharna once again tried to convey the message that there is no factionalism in the party and the party is united.

Holding the Ashok Gehlot led Congress government i responsible for the acquittal of four accused in Jaipur bomb blast case of 2008, the party staged a dharna at Badi chaupad and accused the government of doing appeasement.

The opposition party members alleged that due to weak prosecution of the state government, the four accused who were awarded capital punishment by a lower court in 2019 were acquitted by the Rajasthan high court.

“Such terrorists were involved in Batla House and Surat bomb blasts. Two were killed in an encounter. Salman Khurshid’s statement was that Sonia’s tears are not stopping. These are the same terrorists, for whom tears were not stopping from Sonia’s eyes,” he said.
