Jaipur airport gets new head, Charan Singh

Jaipur: In a major administrative change at Jaipur Airport, the new head of Airport Authority of India will now be the Coordination Incharge (CIC) instead of Airport Director.

Post of Airport Director has been dissolved with handing over of airport operations to private conglomerate Adani Enterprises Charan Singh, the officer-in-charge of air traffic control at Jaipur airport, appointed as airport’s first CIC.

He will not only be the administrative head ofstaff attached to the Airport Authority, but will also coordinate with the Adani Group.

He will oversee the decisions taken by the Adani Group for the development and operational efficiency of the airport. JS Balhara, former director, Jaipur Airport was relieved of his duties on Monday
