Jaghina murder: After SIT report, 11 police personnel suspended

Jaipur: 11 Rajasthan Police personnel have been suspended in connection with the murder of gangster Kuldeep Jaghina. The SIT, constituted after Gangster’s death, had probed the matter. Prafulla Kumar, IG, PHQ had prepared a complete report and on the basis of this report, DGP Umesh Mishra has taken action.

ASI Harendra Singh, Constable Satveer Singh, Jagbir Singh Driver and Chandrapal Singh suspended after Bharatpur SP Mridul Kachhawa issued the order.

IG Prafulla Kumar has raised the question in the investigation as to why the criminal was not produced through video conference. The investigation officer probing the Kirpal Singh murder was also pointed out as having lapses in probe. The Investigating Officer knew that the accused was hardcore criminal and there could be a gang war. In such a situation, the Investigating Officer should have requested the Special PP to arrange video conference of the accused in the court, which was not done.

The most important thing which has been underlined in the SIT investigation is that the Rajasthan Roadways bus carrying the accused entered the Bharatpur border. Then the policemen escorting the bus were negligent and had no co-ordination with the chalani guards who took the accused in the bus.
