Irked with babu, councillors protest & resign

Jaipur: Over 40 councillors of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage (JMCH) on Friday signed their resignation letters addressed to the Chief Minister as they were miffed over the attitude of Additional commissioner Rajendra Verma.

The councillors demanded suspension of the officer and sat on dharna inside the chamber of Mayor Munesh Gurjar where PHED minister Mahesh Joshi also reached. The file related to the beat in JMC Heritage is pending with Rajendra Verma for the last 15 days.
