IPL matches to be held in Jaipur from April 19

Jaipur: Ahead of the IPL matches starting from April 19, a meeting of the organising committee was held today at SMS Stadium.

RCA President Vaibhav Gehlot, Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation Mayor Dr Somya, JMCH Mayor Munesh Gurjar, Additional Commissioner (Law & Order) Kunwar Rashtradeep and the executive committee members of RCA attended the meeting.

Gehlot said that 5 IPL matches will be played in Rajasthan. He said that the meeting was held so that coordination could be established among different agencies and the matches could be organised well.

He said that after BCCI’s advisory, a committee in RCA will be constituted so that maximum formats can be coordinated. “We are happy that we have got permission for IPL matches. I thank the BCCI President for this. We will take the work forward,” he said. Gehlot said that he has extended invitations to the Governor, Chief Minister & others.
