INVESTORS PROMISE ₹3,000-CR FOR JAISALMER

Jaisalmer: Letters of intent (LoIs) worth Rs 1,723 crore and Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 1,236 crore were inked at the ‘Invest Jaisalmer Summit’ here on Friday.

The investments totaling around Rs 3,000 crore are expected to generate 16,000 new jobs in the district. The tourism industry attracted most of the investments while other sectors the entrepreneurs showed interest in are cement and dairy.

The largest investment of Rs 1,500 crore came from Kotyark Industries.
