Jaipur: A Rajasthan Police Inspector was arrested in a rape case registered with Karni Vihar police station in Jaipur after Supreme court rejected his anticipatory bail and directed him to surrender. The case was registered against K P Singh in 2020 by his acquaintance at the Karni Vihar police station. That time, the accused was posted as in-charge of the anti-human trafficking unit in Jhunjhunu.

The case was first investigated by an inspector and later the investigation was given to Additional DCP West Bajrang Singh. The police did not arrest him and in the meantime, he got anticipatory bail from the High Court.
