Inspection uncovers hygiene issues at Khandelwal Dhaba, other places

Jaipur: Food Safety Inspection was conducted at Khandelwal Dhaba in city on Sunday. A team of Food Safety Officers conducted an inspection at the Khandelwal Dhaba on railway station premises.

The inspection revealed issues with cleanliness standards. Dirt and debris were observed in various areas of the establishment, raising serious hygiene concerns.

An improvement notice was issued to the management, particularly highlighting the poor quality of paneer. Samples were collected for further examination, and the remaining stock was disposed of on-site.

Samples of gravy and cooking oil were taken, or quality testing. Following this, a neighboring eatery, Rup Basant’s Dining Hall, underwent inspection as well. The establishment was instructed to maintain cleanliness standards.

Samples of flour and vegetables were collected for examination, and Saraswati Sweets and Snacks, located nearby, underwent a similar inspection.

The inspection was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Pankaj Ojha, Additional Food Commissioner, and Dr. Ravi Shekhawat, Chief Medical and Health Officer.
