Jaipur: The India-West Indies ODI match to be held in Jaipur on February 9, has been cancelled. Jaipur’s SMS Stadium was hosting One Day International match after 8 years.

This match will now be played in Ahmedabad. The Tour and Fixer Committee of BCCI has taken this decision owing to spike in corona cases.

The BCCI has decided to organise the ODI and T20 series between India and West Indies in Ahmedabad and Kolkata only.

Earlier these matches were to be held in Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Cuttack, Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram.

The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) had started preparing for the proposed ODI match.

The outfield and pitch of Sawai Mansingh Stadium along with the stand and pavilion were being repaired. Office bearers of RCA have been disappointed with BCCI’s last minute decision.
