In Rajasthan, now all seasons are ‘tourist-season’

Jaipur: he new tourism season has officially started from October 1 and the target this time is for arrival of 40 lakh tourists every month during winters. There will be abundance of tourists till March next year. Advance bookings of hotels near major tourist destinations have started.

Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ranthambore, Mount Abu, Udaipur are the most preferred cities. With the rush, tariff has also increased in hotels and resorts. Special packages are being offered on Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas and New Year.

Travel industry expects business worth Rs 10,000 crore in 6 months of winter. Bookings by foreign tourists also increased by 200 percent.

Meanwhile, wildlife tourism has been growing steadily in the state thanks the efforts of the government and Tourism Department and will remain at peak for the next three days. Ranthambore, Sariska, Ramgarh Vishdhari, Jhalana, Amagarh, Kumbhalgarh, Tal Chhapar, Jawai are completely packed due to Durga Ashtami and Dussehra holidays.

The Hotel industry has regained its glory due to increasing wildlife tourism in state. Advance bookings for Diwali holidays are on at most places from now.
