IN PAST 3 YEARS, RAJASTHAN’S GDP INCREASED BY Rs 3 LAKH CRORE: GEHLOT

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot completed fourteen years as Chief Minister of Rajasthan on Saturday, across three terms, a feat rarely achieved said, while highlighting the success of Gehlot Governance Model on the fourth year anniversary of his current government that Rajasthan has become a ‘Model State’ in the country with responsive public welfare decisions, transparent works and good governance. He said that state GDP has increased by Rs 3 lakh crore in the last 3 years and per capita Income increased by 26.81 percent in three years. “It is our priority to provide relief to people. The economy of Rajasthan is continuously growing despite the illeffects of covid-19 pandemic,” he said. Gehlot said that the growth of the state’s GDP at the rate of 11.04 percent is a good sign of the economy and the growth in double digit has been possible due to the positive policies of the state government. Gehlot said the size of the state GDP has increased to Rs 12 lakh crore and the per capita income in the last 3 years has increased by 26.81 percent.

The per capita income in the country is increasing at the rate of 6.08 percent whereas, in Rajasthan, the per capita income is increasing at the rate of 8.24 percent. Gehlot said that the state government has done unprecedented work in medical and health services and Rajasthan is the only state in the country where 7 percent of the budget is being spent on healthcare, whereas 5.6 percent of the budget is spent on health in Gujarat. He said that the system of providing free coverage of health facilities to all has been implemented in the state and the Right to Health Bill has also been brought, which is under consideration in the assembly. Speaking about the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme, he said that cashless treatment up to Rs 10 lakh and accident insurance of Rs 5 lakh is provided under the scheme which has received a huge response from the public.

CM Gehlot said that so far, transplants & implants worth Rs 11 crore have been done under the Chiranjeevi scheme.

1, 639 Mahatma Gandhi Govt English Medium Schools have been opened in 4 years. In the last 3 years, 211 new Govt Colleges have been opened.

MoUs signed for investment of Rs 1 lakh cr in solar sector. Govt created an investmentfriendly environment.

Zero Electricity Bills of 8.85 lakh farmers.

Social security pensions to 1 crore people.

OPS for govt staff

Govt increasing the dignity of women.

Govt jobs have been given to 1.35L candidates, 1.20 lakh jobs are in process.

Despite policy of compulsory FIR registration, there was 5% less registration of crimes in 2021 compared to 2019, CM said.

CM accused Union Min GS Shekhawat of misleading masses on ERCP. He reiterated the demand to declare ERCP as National project.
