In just a day, 52,569 violators fined for not wearing helmets

Jaipur: To reduce road accidents in Rajasthan, the traffic police on Saturday organised a one-day campaign to fine people not wearing helmets while riding twowheelers. More than 52,550 people were fined till Saturday at 2 pm for not wearing helmets. ADG (Traffic) VK Singh inspected the campaign at Rambagh and JDA circle and appreciated the efforts of police officials.

“Efforts are being made by the traffic police to reduce road accidents in the state. This campaign was organized from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on Saturday, especially to reduce the death in road accidents, which increases in May. Under this campaign, people were fined for driving without helmets,” said ADG VK Singh.
