IN FINAL ROUND, SONI LOSES TO LATHER!

Jaipur: According to sources, after DG-ACB BL Soni’s ‘decisive’ brief meeting with CM Ashok Gehlot at Jaipur airport before his flight for Jodhpur, & subsequently, ML Lather speaking to First India said that he has no plans to apply for VRS, a one month old ongoing curiosity on this subject comes to an end. Now, Lather will continue on his present assignment till retirement i.e. Nov 30, 2022 & a hardcore Gehlot loyalist and a result oriented ACB Chief BL Soni will continue on his present job. Lather’s daughter is getting married on July 8 & he will be receiving guests as DGP of Rajasthan.

A proper meeting between Gehlot & Soni couldn’t take place because Gehlot was mentally occupied with communal developments in Udaipur. According to highly placed sources, Soni finally lost to Lather because till the last moment Gehlot couldn’t make up his mind to endorse Kuldeep Ranka’s ‘message’ to Lather to step down & to accept an ‘alternative’ proposal.
