Illegal warehousing scheme coming up at Jpr-Delhi NH

Jaipur: An influential political family is doing illegal warehouse development in Daulatpura along the Jaipur-Delhi National Highway-48 in violation to the master plan.

The project, Akshar Enclave, is situated in front of the Daulatpura Police Station and near the Radha-Swami Satsang Ashram. 33 bigha land on which the project is being developed is owned by a well-known family engaged in jewellery & real estate business. The land, located on a prime location, is connected to Todi Harmada Road, which links to Transport Nagar on Sikar Road.

This area falls within an ecological zone and is part of a reserved forest under the Rajasthan Forest Act of 1953. The project is being developed without obtaining the necessary land conversion approval from the JDA or having the layout plan authorized. The development goes directly against the Jaipur Master Plan and violates the guidelines set forth by the Rajasthan High Court in the Gulab Kothari case in January 2017.

The Akshar Enclave has 117 plots 60 percent of which have already been sold.
