Illegal mining face action in Alwar and Deeg distts

Jaipur: Two teams of Mines Dept took major action at Hasanpura Mafi near Tijara and Sujat Ka Khola in the hilly area near Deeg and recovered more than 4 lakh 93,170 tonnes of masonry stone. The department imposed a penalty of more than Rs 21 crore 13 lakh on accused.

Mines Secy Anandi said after getting information, it was decided to send a team from another place to conduct he investigation and Jaipur SME Pratap Meena was instructed to form a team & reach Alwar. Then Meena and his team were sent secretly to Hasanpura.

Similarly, during the action illegal mining in Khola of Sujat in Pahari Deeg, ME Ram Niwas Mangal and his team registered seven cases.
