Illegal colonies razed by JDA in five zones

Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Authority, on Thursday, demolished one bigha government land in village Bidhani Zerota in Zone-9 and two new illegal colonies on 6.5 bighas agricultural land. Besides, three new illegal colonies on about 40 bighas of private agricultural land in Zone-11 were completely demolished. Chief Controller of Enforcement Dharmendra Kumar Yadav said that about one bigha of JDA owned government land was encroached upon. After demolition, a letter has been written to Deputy Commissioner Zone9 regarding action taken.

Another 1.5 bigha of privately held agricultural land in village Bidhani, District Jaipur, was demolished where without the approval, Janaki Nagar colony was being established. In Kannadwas Goner, Jaipur, five bighas of private agricultural land was freed from encroachers.
