‘I’ll stop misuse of agencies on 2nd day of taking oath’
Jaipur: UPA’s presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha on Monday questioned Prez Kovind’s silence on nat’l issues saying that country saw a “silent president” in last 5 years. “If we talk about five years, then it was period of silence of Rashtrapati Bhavan. We saw a silent President,” said Sinha while interacting with media here on Monday.
Opposition’s Presidential candidate, Yashwant Sinha, while addressing a press conference, said that CM Gehlot has given his indications & he may weave his magic again. He was responding to a question whether he will get MLAs’ support like they (MLAs) supported Congress in RS polls.
“We are not fighting only one political party, we are also fighting those agencies of govt which are being used to harass people. I will stop misuse of agencies from the 2nd day as soon as I take oath,” he said. CM Gehlot said, “Now, they have started attacking regional parties. It is a very dangerous. PM Modi should come forward & address nation over the current tense situation.”
