Jaipur: The Income Tax raid, which started on Thursday, against the country’s largest asbestos sheet manufacturer & ARL Group ended late on Sunday. Officials claim to have seized cash worth Rs 50 lakh and 9.55 kg gold jewellery worth Rs 6.13 crore. ARL Infratech Limited evaded Rs 50 crore.

Fraudulent expenditure of more than Rs 60 crore and construction related units Akshat Apartments Pvt Ltd, Akshat Real Care LLP etc has surfaced a scam involving Rs 52 crore. Statement of directors of group was taken. The raids began on Thursday at the units of ARL Group concluded on Sunday. A detailed investigation will start on Monday.
