I-T raids at construction firms in Jodhpur & Delhi

Jaipur/Jodhpur: The Income Tax department’s special team from Jaipur conducted raids on various locations of Varaha Infra Limited’s office and the house of the company’s owner in Jodhpur on Monday in a case related to disproportionate assets. The company does the work of road construction, pool construction and other infrastructure projects. Raids are on at company directors Mufat Singh Rao, Prem Singh Rao, Jagdev Singh Rao’s locations and their business associates at about 10 places in Jodhpur. The team has also raided other locations of the company.

Officials have found necessary documents and a note counting machine. Papers and other documents are being examined. The company owners have a strong political background and are said to be vying for tickets from Jalore-Sirohi Lok Sabha seat.
